Still nothing in the mail from Starlee Rhoades at the Goldwater Institute answering my simple question: What does "many" mean in her sentence:
"We believe the term bureaucrat accurately describes many of the employees in question and is a fair use of the term."
Still no reply, even though she ended her letter to me with:
We appreciate your active interest in our research and look forward to continued dialogue.
It can't be a dialogue if only one side is talking.
If G.I. doesn't grace my mailbox with a letter by Saturday, I will be duty-bound to declare,
According to The Goldwater Institute, Bus Drivers are Bureaucrats.
And it is my hope that whenever G.I. folks interact with the media, a reporter or interviewer asks them, "Is it really true that you say bus drivers are bureaucrats?"
I can't wait to hear the answer.
Meanwhile, until Saturday, I remain expectant.
"Please Mr. Postman. C'mon, deliver the letter, the sooner the better."
