With the revelation from retired four star General and former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly that Donald Trump, the failed -twice impeached former President, praised Hitler and wished he had generals like those on the German Dictators staff, one wonders if this latest revelation will finally be the final straw for undecided or even Trump leaning voters who unbelievably have not already figured out how dangerous an unstable and unhinged Mad King Trump second term would be.
Trump, the person who also told Kelly that fallen and injured veterans like Kelly’s own son were “suckers” and “losers” probably prefers the SS Generals Hitler retained to help carry out the Holocaust against Europe’s Jews, Gypsies, Slavs, Same Sex Couples, and Those Deemed Unfit.
Democratic Presidential Nominee Vice President Kamala Harris reacted to this newest revelation by Kelly of Trump’s predisposition to Fascism and Authoritarianism with brief remarks outside the Vice President’s residence, saying:
“Donald Trump said that because he does not want a military that is loyal to the United States Constitution. He wants a military that is loyal to him. He wants a military who will be loyal to him personally. One that will obey his orders even when he tells them to break the law or abandon their oath to the Constitution of the United States. This is a window into who Donald Trump really is from the people who know him best. From the people who worked side by side in the Oval Office and in The Situation Room.”
The Vice President quoted General Kelly saying, “‘Donald Trump certainly falls into the general definition of Fascist.’ Who in fact vowed to be a dictator on day one and vowed to use the military as his personal militia to carry out his personal and political vendettas.”
“So the bottom line is this. We know what Donald Trump wants. He wants unchecked powers. The question in 13 days will be what do the American People want.”
Democratic Vice Presidential Nominee Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, reacting to Kelly’s and other generals who suffered under Trump’s comments, offered:
“Don’t be the frog in the boiling water and think this is okay. As a 24 year veteran of our military, that (Trumps comments) make me sick as hell and it should make you sick. Folks, the guard rails are gone. Trump is descending into this madness.”
This nation does not need a President who thinks Hitler did good things.
It also does not need one who is a convicted felon, twice impeached, adjudicated rapist, and failed businessman and President who mismanaged a global pandemic and inspired a Domestic Insurrection against the Nation’s Capitol.
Donald Trump is all of these things.
American Voters need to get serious and defeat this Fascist American Duce Wannabe and all the MAGA people running down ballot with him and his version of Mein Kampf, Project 2025, at the ballot box on November 5, 2024.
Time to get with the Democracy and American Republic Program known as the Constitution and consign this Authoritarian movement to the dustbin of history.
