Hell No: Republicans Want to Cut Health Care More to Pay for Trump’s War of Choice Against Iran

Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are ushering in a Golden Age…for America’s Billionaires, Oil Companies, War Profiteers, and Family and Friends who are gaming the system at the expense and pain of working and middle class Americans.

Since his return to office, Mr. Trump and his MAGA Republican colleagues have not stopped in their quest to make their millionaire and billionaire cronies richer while making everyone else poorer and less safe.

Their Supply Side Economics on Steroids policies, including cuts to food stamps, health care, and aid to education, while Trump’s tariff agenda and war of choice against Iran have only squeezed the American People and added to their economic suffering and misery.

Look how much food prices have gone up since Trump’s return?

And gas prices?

And health care?

And everywhere else?

Now, in order to pay for Trump’s war of choice against Iran, MAGA Republicans in Congress like House Budget Chairperson Joey Arrington are mulling imposing additional out-of-pocket costs to people on the Affordable Care Act marketplaces.

Remember, last year, in their Big Billionaire’s First Bill, these same MAGA Republicans cut subsidies people received in enrolling on the Affordable Care Act, increasing out of pocket costs and the number of uninsured.

Now, Trump and his MAGA cronies want to make life harder and more expensive for the same people already being squeezed at the gas pump, the grocery store, and the doctor’s office.

HELL NO!

Reacting to the Axios report that MAGA Republicans in Congress are considering more health care cut pain on the Arizonans and the American People, Arizona Senate Democratic Leader Priya Sundareshan posted:

“Last year, Republicans made your healthcare more expensive to fund tax cuts for the wealthy and to triple the ICE.

Now they’ll do it again to pay for their unnecessary wars.”

Democratic House Leader Oscar De Los Santos simply wrote “WTF!”

WTF Indeed.

Asking the American People to pay for this war by paying higher gas prices, grocery bills, and health care costs while Trump and his billionaire buddies laugh at them all the way to the bank, cashing in on all the war profiteering by way of higher oil prices and inside stock trading, should not be tolerated by voters this cycle and in 2028.
