Newly elected Corporation Commissioner James (Jim) O’Connor showed the people of Arizona this week what happens when you have six candidates vying for three vacancies on the Commission and a devoted base uses that situation to sneak an otherwise unqualified fringe candidate across the finish line in a statewide election.
Last week, Mr. O’Connor showed his susceptibility to the alternative reality fringe of the political spectrum (the Trump Zone-Fox Island-Disinfowars) when he demonstrated his anti-vax views by telling AZ Central/Arizona Republic that:
“I’m also aware through other information that many people who have taken the shot, many thousands of people here in the U.S., are deceased. And the deceased part is the good news. And please don’t take that out of context. But the alternative to being deceased after the shot, there are something like 40,000 plus recorded cases of people that are now potted plants. They are human vegetables. They’ve lost their ability to function.”
Apparently, Commissioner O’Connor had been watching the videos of an Idaho Doctor, Ryan Cole, and shared those through the Corporation Commission Pipeline in an effort to ensure that vaccinations are not made mandatory at the commission and Arizona utility companies.
Suffice it to say, as the journalists at AZ Central have pointed out, there have been no mass deaths or people becoming vegetated as a result of taking the Coronavirus vaccine.
Mr. O’Connor has been watching too many lunatic doctors, Infowars, Fox News, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and Day of the Triffids.
He probably believes we are next.
It is scary that this man is in a position to shape statewide utility policy and regulations.
Hopefully, the other five members of the Commission will be able to contain his alternative reality fringe perspective in other areas for the next four years.
What difference? I assume he didn’t get the vaccine and he already is a potted plant. We have a whole Republican establishment from Ducey and Kelli Ward to Kelli Townsend and Vince Leach, already, potted plants.
Nah, all he has to do is watch Fox News and the poison that Tucker Carlson is spewing daily. He’s been hyping the VAERS database and claiming the same thing about 3000 people dying of the vaccine.
