In Her First Full Day as the Democratic Front Runner, Vice President Kamala Harris Pays Tribute to President Joe Biden

What a difference 24 hours makes.

This morning, Vice President Kamala Harris spoke at a White House event as the Democratic frontrunner for her party’s nomination for President following the withdrawal of Joe Biden yesterday.

At a already arranged ceremony honoring NCAA athletes, the Vice President, in perhaps a preview of the opening passages of a potential acceptance speech, paid tribute to President Biden, saying:

“Joe Biden’s legacy of accomplishment over the last three years is unmatched in modern history. In one term, he has already surpassed the legacy of most Presidents who have served two terms in office…His honesty. His integrity. His commitment to his faith and his family. His big heart. His deep love of our country. And I am a first hand witness that every day, our President Joe Biden fights for the American People and we are deeply, deeply grateful for his service to our nation.”
