This morning we got treated to rousing speeches from Arizona luminaries. Sorry in advance that I didn’t cath all of our lead-off speaker SecState Fontes and didn’t get my tripod setup immediately – I’ll do better in future events!
AZSecState Adrian Fontes led off. His main message was to turn your early ballots in within 72 hours of getting it to save our party’s and candidates’ resources chasing your ballot or messaging you. We track turned-in ballots and strike you off for expending any more GOTV resources once we get the report that your vote has been received.
Next up was Tucson Mayor Regina Romero:
Winding up the elected portion of the program was Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego:
Wrapping up the morning’s lineup was Mini Timmaraju of Reproductive Freedom for All emphasizing that Harris/Walz is the strongest reproductive rights ticket in American history and a central issue of the campaign:
