So, America, how are we doing? By the look of things not very well. The so-called debate garnered the lowest ratings in years. Are people really worried about the economy, freedom, or democracy? Not by that standard of measurement.
I submit we are a tired nation, suffering from emotional reactivity. Emotional reactivity is a common experience during intense stress or challenging situations and often leads to impulsive and disproportionate reactions that may seem excessive relative to the actual circumstances. Describes the Democratic party after Thursday night, right?
However, both sides have scared us into a comatose state, in which we just want the noise to stop and go back to “normal”. Remember, normal?
We need to wake up and change the narrative. We, the people, need to control the narrative and use our power. We do that by voting on the agenda that will help and heal us. It’s the agenda folks!
Ms. Beverly Kendell, author notes:
“We need to stop acting as if voting for Biden is some gift or favor to Joe.
Biden will be fine if he doesn’t win the presidency.
It’s women who won’t be.
It’s visible minorities who won’t be.
It’s the LBGTQ+ community who won’t be.
It’s non-Christian religions that won’t be.
It’s the disabled community that won’t be.
It’s unions that won’t be.
It’s the middle class who won’t be.
It’s the working poor who won’t be.
It’s the health of our planet that won’t be.”
The agenda is our future!

You have fallen for the false dichotomy fallacy, which offers only two choices, one bad and the other your choice, ignoring other choices. While I do not think Trump is a bad choice, readers of this blog do, so you offer a false dichotomy of Trump or Biden, ignoring other Democrat alternatives. Don’t you think Harris can handle the job? Why ignore her or the others?
Excellent comments. My vote this year is more than a vote for a man or a political party. It’s for the future of this nation. It’s time to cut through the chatter and chalf. Read about the issues, do some critical thinking. Be sure to vote for state and federal ballot positions, not just the presidential.
