I read with sadness about the passing of Dixie Carter, who is best remembered for her role as the quick-witted and sharp-tongued Southerner Julia Sugarbaker on Designing Women from 1986-1993. 'Designing Women' star Dixie Carter dies at 70. She was smart, funny and classy, but she could dress you down with the spoken word better than anyone I have ever seen. I loved her character.
