In case you missed the screening of “Betrayal” and panel discussion last night, TheSinemaBetrayal.com.

To reflect the horror world that Senator Sinema is enabling, Arizona organizers and leaders, in collaboration with Just Democracy, are telling the story of “The Betrayal.” Coming to sinemas soon, the real-life political psychological thriller depicts how Senator Sinema turned her back on Black, Brown, and Indigenous Arizonans.

SHE’S CHOOSING THE FILIBUSTER OVER US.

Senator Sinema has betrayed her constituents. She continues to side with anti-democratic actors in her refusal to eliminate the Jim Crow filibuster to pass crucial legislation.

Arizonans’ voting rights are under attack, we need health care, we deserve higher wages, and deliverance on all the promises of progress but the filibuster — and Senator Sinema — are blocking all of that. Her inaction has tangible, devastating results on Arizonans, especially Arizonans of color.

SHE CAN’T IGNORE US ANYMORE.

Just Democracy is teaming up with Arizona leaders and organizers to coordinate a week of action in November. Faith, labor, student, and Black, Brown, and Indigenous community leaders are coming together to make it clear to Senator Sinema that our communities deserve action.

  1. Were the Democrat senators who used the filibuster when President Trump was in office also anti-democratic.

    • Johnny, at which point during the Vulgar Talking Yam’s term did Democrats use the filibuster? Be specific – Dates & what they were filibustering. Post links from reputable news sources (Fox, OAN, Newsmax, etc. don’t count). Otherwise, please do the blog a favor & shut your keyboard hole.

  2. This is a recent picture of Sinema and Manchin with friends. It looks like Sinema fell asleep wearing her housecoat, wore it to work the next day, and didn’t comb her hair. Very, very strange.
