Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s sister, human rights activist Kerry, unlike her brother, has not forgotten the progressive legacy of her father and uncles.
In Arizona for a two-day swing, the daughter of the late New York State Senator and 1968 Presidential Candidate attended events for Republicans for Harris and Latinos for Harris that promoted the Harris/Walz campaign’s emphasis on protecting Democracy, saving the country from a second Trump Administration equipped with a tax raising and abortion banning Project 2025 agenda, and charting a New Way Forward to expand the middle class and lift people up by promoting an Opportunity Economy and lowering costs.

At the Republican for Harris event, Ms. Kennedy, according to a campaign press release, commented:
“In a matter of weeks, Americans will begin casting their ballots in the most consequential election of our lifetimes. Like we’ve known from day one of this race, this will be decided on the margins, and it’s more important than ever to get everyone engaged, not just Democrats, but Republicans and independents, to work together and elect Vice President Harris and Governor Tim Walz to move this country forward.”
Arizona Republicans for Harris Co-Chair Robbie Shaw relayed:
“When Donald Trump was in office, I watched with growing concern as our country and state veered off course under his agenda, and under him, there is no more room for civil discourse to discuss the most pressing issues at hand. That’s why today we’re continuing to come together with civic leaders across the country, including Kerry Kennedy, to foster open conversations about the benefits of supporting Vice President Harris, emphasizing her commitment to bipartisan collaboration and building a better America for all.”

At the Latinos for Harris event, Ms. Kennedy offered:
“The stakes this November couldn’t be higher – which is exactly why my whole family will be fighting so hard to elect Kamala Harris and Coach Walz, who have been champions for the values that my family has fought for for years. Donald Trump is the polar opposite: He is a threat to the most basic rights and freedoms that are core to who we are as Americans: The right for families to make their own family planning decisions free from government interference, to live in communities safe from gun violence, to love who you love.”
Civil rights activist and Co-Founder of the United Farm Workers Association Dolores Huerta stated:
“Vice President Harris will chart a New Way Forward that will raise wages, lower costs for families, and ensure that everyone has an opportunity to not just get by, but get ahead. In stark contrast, Trump was catastrophic for workers and made it harder for us to stand together in a union. And Trump and Vance’s Project 2025 agenda would go even further.”

State Representative Analise Ortiz commented:
“Having Trump back in power again would also hurt immigrant and Latino communities with his plans for mass deportations as part of his Project 2025 agenda — ripping families apart. So, the contrast couldn’t be more clear. Vice President Harris’ vision for the country is one of an opportunity economy where everyone has a chance not just to get by, but to get ahead — whether that be getting a good job, buying a home, or starting a business — and where costs come down.”
Teamsters Member Rosa Tenorio said:
“As a union member, I understand firsthand the power of organizing. And I know very well who stands with workers and who doesn’t. Vice President Kamala Harris has led alongside President Biden the most pro-union administration in history. In short, she’s been an unwavering champion of workers and labor rights her entire career.”
