Kids Say the Darndest Things

Art Linkletter hosted a popular television program for years called "Kids Say The Darndest Things" in which he would interview young children, often to the great embarassment of their parents. No one can be more brutally honest than an innocent child.

Recently, Barack Obama spoke about his visit to the Lincoln Memorial with his wife, Michelle, and their daughters Sasha, 7, and Malia, 10. Malia's advice to dad on speech

He said Sasha noted of Lincoln's second inaugural address, "Boy, that's a long speech. Do you have to give one of those?"

Obama told her that his speech Tuesday might be even longer.

"At which point Malia turns to me and says, 'First African-American president. Better be good,"' Obama said.
