Kirkpatrick Comes Out to Play

Link: Kirkpatrick Resigns to Run Against Renzi.

Hooray! Finally a clear challenger for the most ethically challenged congresscritter in our delegation, possibly in the country.

I suggest that Ann start with letting everyone know about Renzi’s $25,000 fine (PDF) from the FEC for diverting over a hundred thousand dollars in corporate funds into his campaign disguised as personal funds. Renzi is a dirty dirty dog and deserves to end his career in the pound.

  1. I think I detect a whiff of ulterior motive in CC’s comment. Note that there is absolutely no support given for the very serious charges of racism, incompetence, or tax raising, just CC’s bal assertion. And those charges seem contradicted by Ms. Kelty’s personal history (we all know the the Peace Corps is just stuffed full of racists…). I wonder if someone might want to see one of the other two nominees picked for Ann’s seat?

  2. Kara kelty is famous in Flagstaff for raising taxed and rates. Kara Kelty has not supported People of color and voted against funding to help disadvantaged people here. She is NOT who we want representing us at the State level, but has been nominated to replace Ann Kirkpatrick. Please contact the Coconino County Board of Supervisors and ask them NOT to appoint Kara Kelty. She is a racist and incompetent-even to run things on the local level.

  3. Can’t the Dems do better than Kirkpatrick? If she goes up against more experienced, capable and by far more mean GOP legislators like Bennet and O’Halleran; she’ll get clobbered and again CD1 stays in GOP hands.

What about Paul Johnson or Steve Owens? The Dems really have to get it together and quick if they want to take this seat.
