MAGA crotch-grabber Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) has resorted to emails to conservatives about “aliens” in a desperate attempt to raise funds for her re-election campaign.
The email contains a link to a website that asks, “Are aliens real?!” and asks supporters to donate money to Boebert for Congress.
Democratic analyst Andy Boian called the email a sign of desperation. Boebert has raised only $438,895 in total receipts in all of 2025 for the 2026 election cycle. Her Democratic challenger, Eileen Laubacher, had raised $1.9 million by June 2025.
“The government is shut down. So, what she needs to be doing is facilitating a way to get the government open again, not worrying about whether or not we have UFOs in our skies,” Boian said.
Ooooh! Spooky Things Up There
Her email reads: “For decades, our government has shrouded the truth about UFOs in a veil of secrecy.
“Strange crafts have been spotted soaring through our skies, defying the laws of physics, and yet the bureaucrats in Washington act like we’re too NAIVE to handle the facts.
“They tell us we’re crazy, like we can’t see these things flying through the air with our own eyes.
“I SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! The American people aren’t children to be spoon-fed half-truths or dismissed with vague excuses. We deserve to know what’s really going on up there.”
“This is almost a cry for help in politics, to be honest,” Boian said.
According to Boian, candidates on both sides of the political aisle often use attention-grabbing strategies when they are desperate for more money or more voter support.
“Neither of which I’m seeing right now, so I’m not really sure why this would go out to conservatives in her district,” Boian said. “And she may raise a few thousand dollars, but she’s also going to get a lot of really weird looks.”
Wacky hijinks
Boebert is notorious for a variety of off-the-wall activities:
- Crotch groping in public: In September 2023, Boebert and her date were kicked out of a Denver theater performance for groping each other’s crotches. Audience members complained they were also vaping, singing loudly, using their phones to record video, and taking flash photos.
- Restaurant altercation: In January 2024, Boebert and her drunken ex-husband, Jayson Boebert, were involved in a nasty argument at a restaurant in Silt, Colorado, which prompted a domestic abuse police investigation.
- Missed debt-ceiling vote: Space cadet Boebert missed a key vote on the Fiscal Responsibility Act in 2023, which raised the debt ceiling. She initially claimed she was “unavoidably detained,” but security footage showed her running toward the House floor after the vote had closed.
- Capitol Hill antics: Early in her congressional career, Boebert refused to let Capitol Police search her bag after she triggered the newly installed metal detectors, calling it a “political stunt.”
Boebert has talked about UFOs before in public. She made headlines in November 2024 for asking about underwater aliens during a congressional hearing on UFOs.
Boebert asked, “Are there any accounts of UAPs emerging from or submerging into our waters which could indicate a base or presence between the ocean’s surface?”
She also asked about “rumors that have come up to the Hill of a secretive project within the Department of Defense involving the manipulation of human genetics with what is described as non-human genetic material for the enhancement of human capabilities.”
At the time of publication, it could not be determined whether Boebert had been invited to be a commentator on “Ancient Aliens.”
