Armory Park is a 221 S. 6th Avenue, south of  Broadway Blvd in downtown Tucson. The Arizona State Building is at 400 W. Congress St.

Carolyn’s note: If you’re in Tucson and been on the streets of Broadway (last Wednesday, a day before the Teacher Strike/walk out), and at the corner of E. Congress/N. Granada on Thursday/Friday April 26 & 27 — you will know that thousands have been demonstrating, with lots of honking by supportive drivers.

  1. It’s May Day and thousands will be at this Armory Park march & rally today, demonstrating in support of public educators and the #RedforEd movement. Stay tuned for any reasonable offer from Governor Doug Ducey and the AZ legislature, to meet the demands of the striking teachers in Arizona. Walk out/strike started on Thursday April 26.
