Mayor Romero, Kirsten Engel & SOAZ Leaders to hold Reproductive Rights Roundtable

Mayor Regina Romero will join Kirsten Engel, former Arizona state legislator and candidate for Congress, for a reproductive rights roundtable at 2 p.m. on Aug. 24. Mayor Romero will join state and local leaders to talk about the importance of protecting abortion access and the freedom to choose what to do with our bodies without interference from politicians. The discussion will be moderated by Engel.

Romero is running for re-election this November. Throughout her time in public service, Romero has been an unapologetic leader for reproductive freedom, leading on a resolution to protect abortion access in Tucson and most recently serving as the inaugural co-chair of a bipartisan task force of mayors across the U.S. protecting women’s health and reproductive rights.

  1. How unfortunate that Amy FItch is not included in this discussion. She has done more on the subject and for this cause than many and she is running for Senate in LD 17. A real miss for those that will attend.
