Seriously? Tenn. Senate OKs 'don't say gay' bill:
A bill passed Friday by the Tennessee Senate would forbid public-school teachers and students in grades kindergarten through 8 from discussing the fact that some people are gay.
Opponents deride the measure as the "don't say gay" bill. They say it's unfair to the children of gay parents and could lead to more bullying.
The bill isn't likely to be taken up by the House before lawmakers adjourn this spring, but the sponsor there has said he would push it forward in 2012 when the General Assembly comes back for the second year of the session.
Passage would make Tennessee the first state to enact such legislation, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

First of all, I asked Scoop the question, so unless you’re Scoop, as well, you need not answer for him/her.Ask people in those states if they got what they think they voted FOR. Bet not.Additionally,laws of the land (federal law) trumps state law everytime.If Scoop is a guy,talking about the “evils” of Roe v Wade…then I have other issues!Certain issues are left to the states to be sure, but when certain ideology drives the agenda off a cliff and does not address the immediate needs of the people, then it is nothing more than a power grab for wackos pushing their extreme views on the rest of the population.Yes, I’m talking about Roe.Where’s the jobs???
