Not a Great Thinker: Hegseth Stops Cyberoperations Against Russia

This has been a good week…for Putin and Russia.

Following the F.B.I. halting of investigating Russian interference in the recent United States elections, this week, the Musk/Trump/Vance Central Committee voted for Russia at the United Nations against a resolution condemning Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Then there was the despicable behavior by Trump and Vance towards Ukrainian Leader Zelensky in the Oval Office. While Trump and Vance were coddling Putin by berating Zelensky, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told officials at the Pentagon to stop cyberoperations against Russia.

This is while Russia is still apparently conducting cyberoperations against the United States and its allies.

According to reporting by the New York Times, Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the moves are necessary to get Russia to the negotiating table, commenting on ABC News This Week:

“You’re not going to bring them to the table if you’re calling them names, if you’re being antagonistic. That’s just the president’s instincts from years and years and years of putting together deals as someone who’s in business.”

So, let us get this straight.

American Duce Trump has no problem being antagonistic to Zelensky (the good guy) and calling him, the leader of an invaded nation, names like ‘dictator’ while coddling the actual Russian dictator who invaded Ukraine and has committed numerous capital crimes against his enemies.

These people are not great thinkers.

This is another example of this Administration’s leading officials acting like the historically discredited American First-Isolationaist and Pre-World War Two European leaders who appeased Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany in the 1930’s.

Commenting on Hegseth’s moronic-Russia First move, Arizona Senator Mark Kelly posted:

“The Russians use cyber warfare against us all the time. Why would we stand down from planning offensive operations, as has been reported here? Capitulation to Russia is stupid but worse than that it is dangerous.”

What idiotic move will the Musk/Trump/Vance Central Committee make next?

Withdraw from N.A.T.O.?

Sign a Non-Aggression Treaty of Friendship with Russia?

Those questions do not seem as far fetched now as they once were with this bunch of Authoritarian wannabes occupying the Executive Branch.

Stay tuned.

  1. “while coddling the actual Russian dictator”

Back in my day we called it butt stuff.

I work in IT for NASDAQ 100 companies and too big to fail banks, aka “the place where you keep your money”.

We are under attack every second of the day from script kiddies, organized crime, and state actors from Iran, China, North Korea, and Russia.

Don’t take my word for it, ask anyone who works in InfoSec.

Our rapist POTUS’ administration is making America weak, surrendering to a 4’10” tall KGB agent.

Our allies will not trust us with information on terrorists and other threats if they don’t trust us, so we’re less safe.

Neville Chamberlain probably thought he was making good choices, Trump is no Neville Chamberlain.

He’s worse, he’s only in this for himself.

Our modern day Chamberlains are the Dems and MSM, who are too busy moving to the right, worrying about Joe Rogan’s ratings, and coming up with brilliant plans like “hey guys, what if we get a TikTok account” to do what’s right.

Pussies. Not apologizing for language, they’re pussies.

There are still thousand of IT folks who will work all nighters and weekends keeping our data safe, but they can’t do everything.

    We’re fu**ed.
