Note to DNC Convention Viewers

If you want to watch the DNC Convention speeches and other activities, you have to watch it it on C-Span.  This is the only gavel-to-gavel coverage of the speakers and events at the convention – without commentators.

The networks and cable networks only cover the headliner speeches.  The rest of the time, they do what they do every day – talking heads engaging in wild speculation, conjecture, and carrying the water for the RNC/McCain campaign talking points, while sitting around congratulating themselves and each other for their "brilliant" (inane) analysis.  No one should be allowed to graduate with a degree in journalism. The corporate media is the single greatest threat to the survival of our democracy. 

Barack Obama has two opponents in this election: the Republican Party nominee, and the corporate media that defends the status quo.  He will have to defeat them both, with our help.
