NRA pays The Nuge $50,000 to threaten Obama

What, you thought Ted Nugent threatens Obama at the NRA convention for free? (See the post below for what Nugent said to make the Secret Service take notice.)

Hardly. He charges $50,000.

This is from the NRA Report to the Annual Meeting of Members sent out April 14, 2012 (Download the whole NRA report):

• Mr. Ted Nugent received $50,000 plus travel expenses for a spoken presentation at the 2011 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits.

$50,000 is what The Nuge charged in 2011 — plus travel expenses, of course. His price may have gone up since then. But as you probably knew, there's no honor among assholes. If you go on the Celebrity Talent website that handles Nugent, you'll find his going rate is $35,000+. He's not cutting his NRA buds any deals.
