On the Second Anniversary of the Dobbs Decision Overturning Roe v Wade, President Biden Blasts Traitor and Convicted Donald Trump in a New Ad

With the second anniversary of the Dobbs Decision from the United States Supreme Court that overturned Roe v Wade and took away a woman’s reproductive freedom nationwide, the Biden/Harris Campaign will participate in a series of events across the country calling attention to that catastrophic ruling and calling on voters to support the Biden/Harris Ticket and Democrats up and down the ballot that will protect women’s health care at the polls in November.

One of the 50 planned events nationwide will be an afternoon rally headed by Vice President Kamala Harris in Phoenix later today.

To mark the anniversary, the Biden/Harris Campaign also released the ad highlighted below by President Joe Biden laying out what is at stake for reproductive freedom this election if traitor and 34 times convicted Donald ‘I killed Roe v Wade’ Trump gets back in the White House and can appoint more judges and Supreme Court Justices.

Below is the script from the ad.

JOE BIDEN: Here’s what Donald Trump says about your freedom: “After 50 years of failure with nobody coming even close, I was able to kill Roe v. Wade.”

Two years ago, the Supreme Court justices that Trump handpicked helped overturn Roe v. Wade.

REPORTER 1: Never before has the Court granted and then taken away a widely recognized constitutional right.

REPORTER 2: New laws banning abortion are taking effect.

JOE BIDEN: Decades of progress shattered just because the last guy got four years in the White House.

We know what will happen if he gets another four. For MAGA Republicans, Roe is just the beginning. They’re going to try to ban the right to choose nationwide. They’re coming for IVF and birth control next.

We’re up against extremism.

Send me back to the White House and I’ll fight like hell to restore Roe v. Wade and protect American freedom.

President Biden also released a statement shortly before the release of the ad, commenting:

“Two years ago today, Donald Trump’s Supreme Court majority ripped away the fundamental freedom for women to access the health care they need and deserve. The consequences have been devastating: in states across the country, Trump’s allies have enacted extreme and dangerous abortion bans — many with no exception for rape or incest – that are putting women’s lives at risk and threatening doctors with jail time.

“Donald Trump is the sole person responsible for this nightmare. For him, these cruel state bans are a ‘beautiful thing to watch’ – and they’re just beginning. This is a man who brags about overturning Roe v. Wade, has called for women who access reproductive health care to be punished — and says he would rule as a dictator on day one. If given the chance, there is no question he will ban abortion nationwide, with or without the help of Congress. You don’t have to take my word for it – his advisors have already laid out the plans to do it.

“I will never let that happen. Everywhere I go, I hear from people who are worried about the state of reproductive health care in America. My message to Americans is this: Kamala and I are fighting like hell to get your freedom back. And we won’t stop until we restore the protections of Roe v. Wade for every woman in every state.”
