Pictures from the Hart (Building)

As I said in an earlier post, Kyl's staff treated the Arizona delegation with courtesy and respect. The Senator is way down on my Senators-I-can-tolerate list, but his staff in D.C. is professional and friendly. According to the folks who spent 4 days at Kyl's Phoenix office, the at-home staff is another story altogether.

But Joe Lieberman, who took replaced the "D" in front of his name with an "I," has kept his D-as-in-Dick standing intact, and apparently his staff follows his lead.

Of the dozen-plus who went to his office, two were allowed inside to sit on the comfy chairs, and the rest had to wait outside — standing. That's what the officer told them; they had to stand. Most of them stood, though a few sat against the hallway walls. And one of them decorated Joe's placard outside his door.

On a more postive note, as I walked back to the elevators on the sixth floor, I saw this on the window of one of the offices on the seventh. I think it's on a staff office, not belonging to a specific senator.

There are folks with heart in the Hart. Good to know.
