Pima County Democratic Party Signature Slam Events on Saturdays, 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m., at PCDP Headquarters, 4639 E. 1st Street, Tucson. Did you know that every candidate running for office must turn in a number of signatures before the deadline to qualify for the ballot? This year, candidates are in a hurry to get their signatures turned in before April 4th. Come support our Democratic candidates every Saturday morning by stopping by to either sign their nomination petitions, or sign up to circulate them among your friends and neighbors. Sign Up Link. Tucson Rally, Stand With Ukraine

Sunday, March 6, 1:00 p.m.: Tucson Rally, Stand With Ukraine. We have a vibrant Ukrainian American community in Tucson. Please join us this Sunday, March 6th at 1pm for a rally in support of the brave resistance being demonstrated by citizens of Ukraine. The rally will be held in Jacome Plaza downtown, 101 N. Stone. There will be Ukrainian anthems, American anthems and generally a peaceful demonstration demanding an end to the Russian invasion and occupation. Lots blue and yellow and Tryzubs (the coat of arms of Ukraine).

Join the Alliance for Retired Americans, the Arizona AFL-CIO, and the Arizona Education Association-Retired for an International Women’s Day celebration featuring the legendary Dolores Huerta.  The work of Ms. Huerta is the focus of a traveling exhibition at the Arizona Capitol Museum on display through March 11 (see right).
