In a likely 2026 matchup between Democratic Governor Katie Hobbs and MAGA Cockroach Andy Biggs, 44% support Hobbs and 43% Biggs, according to a Nov. 14 poll by Emerson College.

Congressman Andy Biggs, who sought a presidential pardon for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election, is the runaway leader in the Republican primary. After Biggs,
- “Undecided” came in second place in the poll.
- In third place is 2020 primary loser Karrin Taylor Robson.
- Flailing Rep. David Schweikert is stinking up the Republican rear.
I was surprised to see the successful Gov. Hobbs neck and neck with Roach Biggs.
He denies climate change, falsely claims that voting machines “disenfranchised” voters, wants to build the wall, opposes abortion rights, and calls for repeal of the Affordable Care Act. A Mormon, he constantly brags about being a Christian.
Old man Biggs, crawling around at age 67, is endorsed by fellow roaches Trump, the dead Charlie Kirk of Turning Point, Colorado puppy-killer Rep. Lauren Boebert, disgraced ex-Rep. Matt Gaetz, AZ MAGA Senators John Kavanaugh and Mark Finchem, AZ Rep. Alex Kolodin, loony ex-Sen. Justine Wadsack and other crawling insects.
I expect voters will start using Raid roach killer as the 2026 election draws near.
Meanwhile, Hobbs boosts jobs, cuts taxes, and vetoes BS.
Katie Hobbs was barely elected Arizona governor in 2022 by a margin of only 17,117 votes, which represented approximately 0.67 percentage points.
Since then, Hobbs, age 55, is famous for vetoing 185 bills passed by the MAGA legislature. She will attract voters with these accomplishments:
- Overseen significant economic expansion, with the state adding more than 160,000 jobs and achieving the lowest unemployment rate in state history.
- Hobbs provided tax rebates, of up to $750, to 750,000 Arizona working families and launched the $5 million Arizona Microbusiness Loan Program to expand capital access for entrepreneurs.
- She canceled and refused to renew Fondomonte leases to stop unchecked groundwater pumping by foreign corporations and Saudi Arabia.
- Hobbs secured historic housing investments totaling $165 million in FY24 to create thousands of affordable housing units.
- Hobbs championed the repeal of Arizona’s 1864 near-total abortion ban in 2024.
- She eliminated $2 billion in medical debt for approximately one million Arizonans through a partnership with RIP Medical Debt.
- The governor expanded KidsCare to provide healthcare for 10,000 additional children in low-income households.
- Hobbs has delivered nearly $100 million to border communities for law enforcement support and deployed 40 National Guard members to the border.
A do-nothing fringe MAGA Cockroach

In contrast, Biggs’ record is very thin. Over the last 9 years in Congress, Biggs has not had a bill of his own become law. He did vote for Trump’s destructive “Big Bad Bill” and introduced a bill to give creepy Charlie Kirk a gold medal.
Oddly, Biggs’ hard-to-find campaign website sets out no policy positions – because he has a lot to hide.
He operates on the fringes of American conservatism while facing ongoing scrutiny for his ties to Jan. 6 and extremist movements.
The House Jan. 6 committee found that Biggs played a “significant” role in attempts to block certification of the 2020 election. According to sworn testimony, Biggs contacted Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers on Jan. 6, 2021, urging him to decertify the state’s presidential electors—a move that would have thrown the state’s electoral votes into chaos.
Evidence revealed Biggs was involved in discussions about recruiting state legislators for the fake-elector scheme and planning the Jan. 6 rally.
Afterwards, the Cockroach Candidate begged for a presidential pardon, a move legal experts say shows he knew he was committing a crime.
Links To Extremist Circles
Biggs is tied to far-right extremists. He spoke at “Stop the Steal” events and promoted conspiracy theories blaming antifa for the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, despite overwhelming evidence of pro-Trump rioter involvement.
Biggs has promoted unfounded allegations that Arizona voting machines “disenfranchised” voters in Maricopa County, despite certified results and multiple audits confirming the election’s integrity. When pressed on Arizona’s 2020 results, Biggs has said “we don’t know” who really won the state—a claim contradicted by official certification and forensic reviews.

Hardline Positions will alienate mainstream voters
Biggs has staked out many extreme positions across the policy spectrum.
- During the COVID-19 pandemic, Biggs urged Arizonans not to wear masks, called lockdowns “hysteria,” and attacked public health official Anthony Fauci while promoting poisonous hydroxychloroquine as a cure. He opposed all four major federal COVID-19 relief packages, arguing the “cure” was worse than the disease, even as both parties overwhelmingly backed emergency measures.
- Biggs called for President Biden’s impeachment from 2021 to 2023, despite a lack of witnesses and evidence.
- During the 2024 campaign, he remained a high-profile Trump ally, claiming the system is “rigged.”
When you pull up the flooring in politics, hundreds of extreme right roaches will crawl out. Voters will recognize that the do-nothing, aging conspiracy theorist Biggs is one of them. They will step on him with a big Democratic boot.
