As I posted earlier, the Neocon Washington Post was highly critical of Romney's politicization of the killing of our our ambassador to Libya.
Mr. Romney’s rhetoric on embassy attacks is a discredit to his campaign:
At a news conference, Mr.
Romney claimed that the administration had delivered “an apology for
America’s values.” In fact, it had done no such thing: Religious
tolerance, as much as freedom of speech, is a core American value. The
movie that provoked the protests, which mocks the prophet Mohammed and
portrays Muslims as immoral and violent, is a despicable piece of
bigotry; it was striking that Mr. Romney had nothing to say about such
hatred directed at a major religious faith.
Mr. Obama struck the right tone
on Wednesday, saying that “we reject all efforts to denigrate the
religious beliefs of others” but that “there is absolutely no
justification for this type of senseless violence.”
It turns out that Willard "Mittens" Romney had one defender today in the Tea-Publican Party who managed to be even more ignorant and offensive than him: Arizona's everlasting embarrassment, Sen. Jon Kyl.
Here's what Sen. Jon Kyl said, as quoted by Roll Call reporter Meredith Shiner:
"It's like the judge telling the woman who got raped, 'You asked for
it because of the way you dressed.' OK? That's the same thing. 'Well
America, you should be the ones to apologize, you should have known this
would happen, you should have done — what I don't know — but it's your
fault that it happened.' You know, for a member of our State Department
to put out a statement like that, it had to be cleared by somebody. They
don't just do that in the spur of the moment."
Sen. Kyl is a complete ass.
As I posted earlier, Former Romney Adviser On Libya: "They Stepped In It" | The New Republic:
[T]he tone and timing of the criticism were self-defeating in ways large and small. Small because, as the news accounts have pointed out,
the U.S. embassy statement came before the start of the protests in
Cairo and Libya—however ham-handed, it was an attempt to preemptively
defuse them, an impulse no one can begrudge an embassy official under
threat of violence, not an after-the-fact apologia. Meanwhile, the Obama
administration had actually disavowed the statement before Romney released his own critique.
Apparently, Arizona's everlasting embarrassment is the exception. Perhaps Sen. Kyl will now explain that "it was not meant to be a factual statement." We cannot rid ourselves of this embarrassing fool soon enough.

No. Flake is not an improvement. He just has the where with all to keep his mouth shut. Don’t even think that.

The good news is that even if Flake wins it’s an improvement.
Asshole Kyl is the same guy that sat and PURPOSELY PLOTTED to sabotage this President and this administration, and OUR COUNTRY, in a perilous time after his BFF Bush damn near collapsed the world economy. Got us into 2 unfunded wars, and gave us a shit ton of debt! http://www.thomhartmann.com/users/jan-iowa/blog/2012/09/14-republican-traitors-plot-sabotage-us-economy-additional-information-a

As you can see if you click on the link, back in April 2011, Jon Kyl was named Arizona Asshole of the Month in a very competitive field. He will probably continue even when he is out of office in a few months.
“Sen. Kyl is a complete ass.” You are far too kind, Meanie.
He is MORE than an ass! Maybe he didn’t mean this to be a “factual statement”. I’m with you, AZterritory…can’t WAIT to take this idiot off speed dial! And Quayle, too!

Write him. It will be great to take this tool off speed-dial in January.
