The new reality TV series "Survivor – GOP Presidential Primary" returns for a new episode on Wednesday, this time hosted by the "1%" at CNBC and the Michigan Republican Party from Oakland University in Rochester, MI.
This debate is billed as the "Your Money, Your Vote" Republican Presidential debate. The debate will focus exclusively on the nation's economic challenges including the national debt, jobs and taxes. Moderators will be CNBC's Maria Bartiromo and John Harwood, joined by panelists Jim Cramer, Steve Liesman, Rick Santelli, and Sharon Epperson — all crying crocodile tears, of course, for the "one-percenters." It airs at 8:00 p.m. ET on CNBC.
The post-debate may prove more entertaining than the actual debate:
CNBC.com, for the first time, will offer a complete social TV experience and dedicate its homepage to connecting users around the debate while watching it on CNBC.
Beginning 90-minutes prior to the start of the debate, CNBC.com will open its “Speaker’s Corner” live at Oakland University.
“Speaker’s Corner” is a live video stream that offers attendees the opportunity to express their unfiltered views of the candidates and the issues being discussed. First rolled out at the Occupy Wall Street protests, “Speaker’s Corner” will re-open following the conclusion of the debate to capture audience reaction.
There will be a second episode of "Survivor – GOP Presidential Primary" this week on Saturday, November 12, this time hosted by CBS News, The National Journal and the Republican Party of South Carolina from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. The debate will be moderated by CBS Evening News anchor and managing editor Scott Pelley, and National Journal congressional correspondent Major Garrett.
The debate, the first on broadcast television, will focus primarily on national security (about damn time!) Herman Cain is going to have to pull some all-nighter cram sessions this week. Cain Says He’s Ready for Questions About “Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan”. Maybe Jon Huntsman can give him a tutorial on China and its nuclear program. It airs at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS.

Here's a question soon to be on everyone's lips: Why are newspapers in Israel reporting an "imminent" attack on Iran, Israel Questioned on News Reports It Is Eyeing Iran Strike – NYTimes.com, and why is the Neoconservative Washington Post and the right-wing noise machine suddenly advocating for a war with Iran? The growing threat of Iran’s nuclear program – The Washington Post.
Are we going to bring back the draft to give our over-burdened members of the Armed Forces a break from a decade of deployments? And are we going to pay for it this time? (A war surtax on the war profiteers and propagandists perhaps?)
