I just posted the portion of my interview with Raúl Grijalva on Arpaio's failure to investigate 400 sex-crime cases. It looks like the issue is getting the attention of the press, in Arizona and nationally. The Arizona Democratic Party just sent out a Media Release with 15 links to press discussions of the story.
Arizona turns on Arpaio
I wanted you to see the recent headlines on Joe Arpaio's failure to investigate more than 400 reported sex crimes. The allegations about Arpaio's office are serious and shocking — and the tone of the media coverage indicates that his days as Maricopa County Sheriff may be numbered.
But in the face of such serious charges, Arpaio is intent on playing politics, suggesting that those criticizing him should resign. That won't cut it for a state demanding answers.
