Prop. 410 proposed salary increase for Tucson Mayor & Council is defeated

City of Tucson Elections has tallied the 16,500 provisional ballots which were not counted on the Nov. 2, 2021 General Election night.

970 vote difference in the negative, and it was ahead on Election night by 153 votes. Prop. 410 would have increased the Councilmembers salary from $24,000 to $36,000, and the Mayor’s salary from $42,000 to $54,000.

No change in voter outcomes for Ward 3, 5 and 6 Council seats, or Prop. 206 minimum wage to $15/hour (which passed), except for more votes overall.

Voter turnout was 31.72%.
