Pima County Elections just released early ballot results from today’s Special Election on the RTA Next, propositions 418 and 419 on the ballot.

Prop 418 (“Proposition 418: asks voters to consider a new regional transportation plan (RTA Next)”).
YES 117,623
NO 74,719
Prop 419 (“Proposition 419: asks voters to consider funding to pay for implementation of the 20-year plan.”) This funding would be through a half cent sales tax.
YES 112,853
NO 78,685
Voter turnout was 29.2 %.
Stay tuned here for updates as the votes come in tonight. Provisional ballots will be counted over the next few days.
So it seems the propositions are passing. Both need to pass for the RTA Next plan to procede for another 20 years, to 2046.
