Right wing radio: Don’t buy American

This almost goes off the bizarre scale. Apparently a new conservative radio talking point is that we should boycott General Motors products to stop the spread of nationalization.

Don't buy GM, so GM never regains solvency, so it can't function on its own without government help. Meaning the only two choices are, it goes out of business or the government has to keep propping it up.

If instead, people root for GM and hope it develops great new products, then get excited about buying the cars and trucks, the company turns around, we add jobs in the automotive sector and get the government out of the car business.

I always think these folks can't amaze me any more, then they amaze me again.
