Really?

Romney, with his Cayman-Island and Swiss-Bank money, is cheap enough and stupid enough to have his campaign buttons made in China? REALLY?

Where are you planning to create all those jobs you're always talking about, Mitt? Not here, apparently.

(Obama buttons are made in the U.S.A., with a union bug on them.)

UPDATE: Information is coming out that the Romney-buttons-made-in-China story may be a fake. I purposely wrote the post in the form of a question because I didn't have good verification about the story's authenticity. Like all things internet-ish, it's hard to decide which information to believe. I'm staying agnostic on this one until I hear believable verification one way or another.

  1. The only lying in this came from the original writer and you guys were the ones that jumped on it like it was a victory. He makes a phoney disclaimer after the fact to try not to look like an idiot (it didn’t work) and you want to make a big deal out of a false claim then say so what when the truth comes out. Sooooo typical. Soooo gullible.

  2. It may be, but I certainly hope that you don’t consider this a victory. There’s much more important things to worry about, and many, many more important lies coming from Romney and his running mates mouth that effect this country.Made in China, true or false, is the LEAST of his troubles!

  3. You would think responsible journalism would dictate that you actually do a little research before you write an article based on a photo you saw on the internet. You could have even included a disclaimer that clearly states “I saw a picture on the internet and I don’t know if it’s true or not.” A 10 year old could do your job with more integrity.

    This is totally false.

  6. David, you’ve got to be kidding – Romney buttons are made in China????? this man has a death wish! A Freudian would say he doesn’t realy want to be president and works steadily at undercutting himself!
