Lots of bands have joined together to boycott Arizona over SB1070,including Nine Inch Nails, Steve Earle, Sweet Honey and the Rock, Kanye West and many more.
With my old ears that still consider Dylan's Blonde on Blonde the all time great rock album, I don't follow many recent groups, but one of the few I truly enjoy is Gogol Bordello, which recently joined the boycott. They label their music Gypsy Punk Rock, which is about as strange and appropriate a label as you're likely to find.
What's not to love about a band out of New York whose song, American Wedding, begins like this:
Have you ever been to an American wedding?
Where is the vodka? Where is marinated herring?
