Scarping goes national

I'd heard buzz about this, but now I know it's true, 'cause I read it in the Star's Political Notebook.

Daniel Scarpinato is moving up, from the spokesman for the Republicans in the State House to the regional communications officer for the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Daniel has been a friend of BfA, in that he's given me so much to post about from his days at the Star to his work on Jonathan Paton's campaign, to his work with the capitol Rs. I just love to read and comment on his prose. I even created a new term in his honor: Scarp.

Scarp (noun): Attack dog, logic-challenged rants written by Daniel Scarpinato. (Note: Can also be used as a verb — to scarp.)

Daniel will use his over-the-top prose in service of all Congressional Republicans in whatever geography his "region" covers — Arizona for sure. So I'm happy to say, we'll continue to hear from the lad.
