Did you know, when you send in your mail-in ballot, campaigns know? That means they stop calling to tell you to send in your ballot. They can focus on the non-voters, and you get one less annoying phone call. (And once you send it in, you don't have to think about it any more.) So do it!

Dates and early voting locations below the fold.

The following information is from an earlier AZ Blue Meanie post:

Early voting runs from Thursday, May 17 to Friday, June 8, 2012. The last day to request an early ballot is June 1. There will be emergency voting on Monday, June 11, 2012.

Special Election Day is Tuesday, June 12, 2012.

  1. Someone here might want to point this little “overlooked” fact out….SOS Bennet is one of the Romney co chairs for the campaign in AZ!Why oh why can’t the media DO IT’S JOB???

    Before you write off Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett as another one of those fringy state officials diving deep into the birther waters of Hawaii, consider this: He is one of the co-chairs of the Romney campaign in Arizona.

    Then again, that honorary position already comes with a few smudge marks. Another of Romney’s co-chairs was Paul Babeu, the virulently anti-immigrant Arizona sheriff who resigned as co-chair in February when he was forced out of the closet by allegations of an affair with … an illegal Mexican immigrant.

    One more note about Bennett. Serving as Romney co-chair is a reversal of Bennett’s campaign pledge when he was running in 2010 not to endorse other candidates while secretary of state. It was “not appropriate” for the the state’s chief elections official to make endorsements, Bennett reportedly said at the time. Acknowledging his reversal Monday, Bennett told the East Valley Tribune, “I am allowed like everyone else to have my personal opinions.”

    Perfect! Another damn flip flopper.
