Failed Chief Executive, Twice Impeached, soon to be Felon and Sexual Assaulter in Chief Donald Trump showed yet again that he has no shame hosting a closed door event at his White Nationalist-Kremlin Estate Mara Largo that praised the organizers of the traitorous domestic terrorist attack on the Nation’s Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Shameful.
Simone Sanders, co-host of The Weekend on MSNBC, said it better than anything I could write when she commented on her show this morning:
“This is sick. This is sickening. This is sick. Peter Navarro, Jeffrey Clark, the people that went to the Capitol to take up arms against the United States government because the President of the United States at the time lied to them about what happened. Those people are not patriots. What Donald Trump did last night was a disgrace to this country. It’s a disgrace to the Constitution…the fact that they did not tell anyone about it, knew what they were doing was untoward.”

Kimberly Atkins is right when she says in the below clip that journalists and Democrats need to “speak truth to power.”
Representative Bennie Thompson is also correct when he states that this is nothing more than an attempt by Neo Fascist MAGA to “rewrite history.”
Sanders is right. This is sickening.
This meme comparing the recent events in South Korea with their leader and Mr. Trump is on point.
It is also sickening when you consider that people last November should have remembered what Trump did to the American People, the Constitution, and the Republic, and still elected him (over the Administration that did help them)to another term because they believed his misinformation, false narratives about January 6, his claims that he would reduce grocery prices, and lying claims that the country “is a disaster.”
As Peter Baker in the New York Times wrote today, the Biden/Harris Administration is leaving a country that is better off than the one Trump handed them in 2021.
It is depressing that the majority of the American People do not recognize that.
This is yet another reason why Democrats and Progressive activists need to refine their messaging strategies and engage better with voters to ensure that they know who really cares about them, will fight for policies that help them, and they are fully informed of historical facts and information before the next elections.
Right now, too many people who do not regularly follow credible news sources are being hoodwinked by the MAGA Charlatan line.

This is only possible in America. We have Democrats who believe that being “proper” is more important than saving our democracy. We have a failing judicial system. The AG was and continues to be more preoccupied with being perceived as IMPARTIAL than bringing the criminal to justice. Americans are more impressed with thugs considered to be strong and powerful, and too ignorant in realizing the importance of preserving our freedoms. IT is a dark time in America, when our representatives will show up for the inauguration of this convicted criminal, to pretend we have a peaceful transfer of power. No, we have a bunch of representatives too afraid to protest a shameful result and stop pretending that this is a duly elected President. He is duly installed by Putin and OLIGARCHAS like Musk, and Bezos, and. the rest of the scumbags.
