I’m no dummy. I don’t want to go up against WWII vets. =) I think we’ve added another item to the ‘third rail’ though. And that would be socialized healthcare. Of course, it’s really nothing new. I’m surprised that the Dems are surprised, what with the HillaryCare debacle.
My comment was satire. I would, however, support a private option to Social Security.

Well Brice and DSW, why don’t you run for office on the platform of repealing Social Security and Medicare. Put your money where your mouth is and prove that you can convince a majority of voters. I will be happy to arrange your campaign meetings with retirement communities. Go ahead and touch that third-rail of American politics. I hope your medical insurance covers it.

There you have it. Blogging Republicans want to triage the elderly, so only the wealthy can live. That really serves the common good.

Great sign! Couldn’t agree more with Brice. Let us opt out – completely. Those who want to remain in the system can stay but let us take our own money (not the SSA) and invest it where we want.

Now that’s a sign I can get on board with! Medicare and SS should be eliminated!
