Incumbent Independent Senator Sinema’s fundraising fell off a cliff this quarter: she raised almost exactly 1/10th as much as Democratic challenger Ruben Gallego.
Here’s Sinema’s quarterly report contribution summary:

She raised about 285K from individual donors and 175K from PACs.
Compare this is to Gallego’s quarter:

Gallego raised $2.89 million: more than 10 TIMES as much from individual donors, and accepted only 75K from PACs.
Sinema has greatly over-estimated her ‘path’ to victory. It isn’t just narrower and more fraught than she supposes, it simply isn’t there. Take your $10 million on hand and pack it up in a golden parachute, Kyrsten! You will be leaving the Senate in ’24 as #SingleTermSinema.

I’m sure her well heeled corporate donors will come riding to her rescue. After all she’s been quite adept at servicing them.
Why would any sane person “invest” in She Who Shall Not Be Named”, when you can’t be sure if she’ll change her positions on any given subject?
How much money are you willing to wager on her? Because that’s what it is, a wager.
With her as the house.
I’m reminded of the song “The Snake”, by Al Wilson, which seems to be inspired by the old Russian story of the Frog and the Scorpion, and used by T4ump after he was given a copy in the Oval Office by Lavrov while he was giving the Russian Israel’s secrets (I assume):
“I saved you”, cried that woman
“And you’ve bit me even, why?
You know your bite is poisonous and now I’m going to die”
“Oh shut up, silly woman”, said the reptile with a grin
“You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in”
Why invest in SWSNBN? Seems major “bidness” entities are incapable of seeing past the next quarter and being she has slavishly delivered for them in the past it’s not surprising they’d throw more money her way.
How much would I wager? Not being a gambling sort I’d make a Glenn Kirschner wager…$1.00, tops!
Or maybe not, per the credible Laura Clawson at Daily Kos she may not run so she can cash in:
“Signs have been piling up that Sen. Kyrsten Sinema might not run for another term, sparing us all a three-way Arizona Senate race in which her ego battled it out for supremacy against Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego and whatever heinous nominee the Republicans come up with. That jibes with McKay Coppins’ report of a conversation Sinema had with Sen. Mitt Romney, the subject of Coppins’ recent book, in which Sinema suggested she was ready to declare her time in the Senate a moral victory and move on the cashing-in phase of her career.
“I don’t care. I can go on any board I want to. I can be a college president. I can do anything,” Sinema reportedly told Romney. “I saved the Senate filibuster by myself. I saved the Senate by myself. That’s good enough for me.”
Yes, preserving the brokenness of a broken institution (House Republicans may be the most visible disaster right now, but never lose sight of how bad things are in the Senate) makes Sinema a winner for life. Also, she didn’t exactly do it all on her own. Sen. Joe Manchin will not be denied his credit for keeping the filibuster in place and the Senate stuck in the mud.”

May she not run and may her potential parachute providers decide to bail on her as they may not want a flake in their midst.
