In an explosive and disgraceful Oval Office meeting with national and international, including members of Russian State Media, journalists in attendance and broadcasting for all the world to see, Putin and Authoritarian Loving Donald Trump and JD Vance took turns verbally ranting at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, calling him ungrateful and saying his country will go down to quick defeat if he does not agree to a diplomatic ceasefire with Russia.

If there was ever any doubt from the people who have not been paying attention to current events as to whose side Trump and Vance were on in this war, watch this clip and read the transcript.
So much for Trump’s promise that he could have a peace deal done between Russia and Ukraine in 24 hours.
In the Oval Office meeting, it was Trump who first took a shot at Zelensky by responding to a question on if he has shifted American alignment towards Russia, saying “You see the hatred he’s (Zelensky) got for Putin. It’s very tough for me to make a deal with that kind of hate. He’s got tremendous hatred. And I understand that. But I can tell you the other side isn’t exactly in love with him either.”
Then JD Vance interjected, saying this was pretty much all Biden’s fault and that Zelensky should try the path of diplomacy being offered by Trump.
Zelensky, by then, probably got annoyed with both these foreign policy inept prima donnas sitting next to and across from him, tried to remind everyone that Putin had broken earlier ceasefire agreements.
Vance then had the gall to suggest that it was Zelensky putting them on the spot for discussing past broken ceasefires in front of the world press, saying that he “should be thanking the president for trying to bring an end to this conflict.”
He also accused Zelensky of organizing “propaganda tours” for foreign visitors who come to tour the war zones.
Zelensky then probably made his one error of the exchange, suggesting to Vance “…During the war, everybody has problems, even you. But you have nice ocean and don’t feel now, but you will feel it in the future.”
That set Trump off who busted a gut, saying :
“Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel. We’re trying to solve a problem. Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel. Because you’re in no position to dictate that. Remember this: You’re in no position to dictate what we’re going to feel. We’re going to feel very good…You’ve allowed yourself to be in a very bad position. And he happens to be right about. You’re not in a good position. You don’t have the cards right now. With us you start having cards…You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. You’re gambling with World War III. You’re gambling with World War III. And what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country, that’s backed you far more than a lot of people said they should have.”
Vance then bellyached and whined about Zelensky:
“Have you said ‘thank you’ once this entire meeting? No. In this entire meeting, have you said ‘thank you’? You went to Pennsylvania and campaigned for the opposition in October. Offer some words of appreciation for the United States of America and the President who is trying to save your country.”
When Zelensky protested that Vance was speaking loudly, Trump remained on the offensive saying no, his Vice President was not speaking loudly, and refused to let the Ukrainian leader speak, saying:
“You’re not winning. You’re not winning this. You have a damn good chance of coming out OK because of us…We gave you through this stupid president, $350 billion (two lies.) We gave you military equipment. And your men are brave. But they had to use our military. If you didn’t have our military equipment…If you didn’t have our military equipment, this war would have been over in two weeks…It’s going to be a very hard thing to do business like this. I tell you.”
Vance resumed his contribution to the bullying by saying:
“Just say thank you. Accept that there are disagreements. And let’s go litigate those disagreements rather than trying to fight it out in the American media when you’re wrong. We know that you’re wrong.”
Even when Zelensky said twice he was thankful, Trump continued going off the deep end, saying:
“You don’t have the cards. You’re buried there, your people are dying. You’re running low on soldiers…Listen. You’re running low on soldiers. It would be a damn good thing. Then you tell us, ‘I don’t want a cease-fire. I don’t want a cease-fire. I want to go, and I want this.’ Look, if you could get a cease-fire right now, I’d tell you, you take it. So the bullets stop flying and your men stop getting killed.”
When Zelensky then tried to remind them that he wanted a ceasefire with guarantees and a reporter followed up with that same question, Trump went into cut downs, journeyed to big lie conspiracy land, and moaned how bad it has been for his buddy Putin, responding:
“What if anything? What if a bomb drops on your head right now? OK? What if they broke it? I don’t know, they broke it with Biden because Biden, they didn’t respect him. They didn’t respect Obama. They respect me. Let me tell you, Putin went through a hell of a lot with me. He went through a phony witch hunt where they used him and Russia, Russia, Russia, Russia. You ever hear of that deal? That was a phony. That was a phony Hunter Biden, Joe Biden scam. Hillary Clinton, shifty Adam Schiff. It was a Democrat scam. And he had to go through that. And he did go through it. We didn’t end up in a war. And he went through it. He was accused of all that stuff. He had nothing to do with it. It came out of Hunter Biden’s bathroom. It came out of Hunter Biden’s bedroom. It was disgusting. And then they said, ‘Oh, the laptop from hell was made by Russia.’ The 51 agents. The whole thing was a scam. And he had to put up with that.”
Trump then finished his tirade repeating he was not sure he could get a ceasefire deal with Zelensky, saying:
“He (Putin) might have broken deals with Obama and Bush, and he might have broken them with Biden. He did. Maybe. Maybe he didn’t. I don’t know what happened. But he didn’t break them with me. He wants to make a deal. I don’t know if he (Zelensky) can make a deal. The problem is, I’ve empowered you to be a tough guy, and I don’t think you’d be a tough guy without the United States. And your people are very brave…But you’re either going to make a deal or we’re out. And if we’re out, you’ll fight it out. I don’t think it’s going to be pretty, but you’ll fight it out. But you don’t have the cards. But once we sign that deal, you’re in a much better position. But you’re not acting at all thankful. And that’s not a nice thing. I’ll be honest. That’s not a nice thing.”
In an exclusive with Blog for Arizona, Democratic Party Chair Robert Branscomb expressed his disapproval of the Trump and Vance rants at Zelensky, saying:
“Why are you picking fights with other leaders when people are worried about the price of eggs, and our economy? They’re laying people off left and right. They’re doing things that are unprecedented. We stand behind Ukraine. Joe Biden made it obvious, and the Congress at the time made it obvious. So we want to see a peaceful resolution to that conflict, and by arguing with the leader of that country, which is number one, very disrespectful. Number two, it puts a stain on the United States. It’s not acceptable, and if this was the voters that voted for it, then this is not who we are.”
Arizona’s Congressional Democrats voiced their outrage at Trump and Vance’s behavior toward Zelensky.
Representative Yassamin Ansari posted:
“I cannot overstate how completely unprecedented and shameful for our country this is. Ukraine is our ally and was illegally invaded at the whim of Vladimir Putin, a dictator and the aggressor. Now, our own president is more interested in acting like a dictator himself than helping formalize a peace deal for the innocent people of Ukraine who have suffered for three long years. Every American should be outraged about this unbelievable betrayal of our values and our allies.”
Representative Greg Stanton posted:
Arizona Senator Mark Kelly appeared on MSNBC following the rumble in the Oval Office, condemning Trump and Vance’s behavior.
Among his comments, Kelly said:
“We have principles. We have values. And we don’t berate our allies in the Oval Office. I’ve never seen anything like this before. This did not get us anything.”
“It’s important for the American people to understand that, because of what happened today, we are all less safe.”
“There was one winner. One winner. And if you watch Russian TV tonight or tomorrow morning, you will see that they’re going to cover this. They’re going to be happy about this. Putin and his cronies are probably popping champagne bottles right now.”
“President Trump wants to look tough. This is a guy that avoided military service, you know, said he had bone spurs. I think he has spent his entire life trying to look tough. In him, (Trump) trying to look tough, he is making us less safe. And he’s making our entire country look weak. And who is the winner? It is Vladimir Putin. A war criminal who is killing women and children and old people, targeting hospitals, targeting schools. A guy who should be in jail. He is the winner today.”
Senator Ruben Gallego simply said “This is a disgrace” in his post.

Boy, does this all take me back!
Remember when convicted rapist and felon Trump was impeached for a “perfect” phone call with Zelensky where he demanded a quid pro quo to help his political career, or else Ukraine wouldn’t get any more missiles.
The MSM honked on and on about Hunter Biden’s laptop for a year but not a peep these last few days about what an impeachable face our rapist POTUS has.
Odd. Seems important.
But then again, so does the felon and rapist stuff they also never talk about.
Oh well, in these frightening times, it’s helpful to remember to laugh a little.
Like I do when I see stories about Trump voters who have been fired or Elon stopped their government checks and are all feeling regrets and sadness and stuff.
You broke it you bought it MAGAts.
To quote MAGA supporting comic Larry the Cable Guy, “I don’t care who you are, that’s funny right there”.
LOL. LOL LOL LOL LOL ROTFFLMAO. 🙂
I think Trump just blew his Nobel Peace prize that he covets. Too bad there’s no prize for the Sycophant of the Century because JD Vance would win for sure.
In normal times all of this would be outrageous. But now we should expect this and worse yet to come. There is some hope that European countries are hearing the wake up call. The sooner they give up on America as the leader of the free world the better for Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
The disgrace is also the twisting and turning of some repubs logic trying to defend these two peabrains, Trump and Hillbilly Vance. Here is a President whose country was invaded, has been bombed daily, had thousands of civilians killed for no reason and all these two are worried about is Zelensky hasn’t kissed their toes enough. The tragedy is even greater that these two have proven clearly they cannot be trusted by anyone, and that they must be Russian assets. The worst in history. We all wonder if we can survive their total incompetence
