Sweet. I have (almost) nothing to say (yeah, right).

I am beginning to wonder why Republicans even have blogs. What is there to talk about when you are no longer an oppressed, despised, ridiculed, and powerless minority, lacking any institutional voice, subject to the wicked whims of petty tyrants? Oh, yeah… what completely wicked bastards the other guys are.

Consider this simple thought.

Congratulations to Gabby and all the other new and returning Congress-critters who demanded his resignation. Let this be the first step on the road to restoring democracy to the American Congress.

Maybe Rummy and Robert McNamera can form a support group for bitter old war criminals who micro-managed a stupid, pointless war into a truly horrendous meat-grinder with which they made force meat of both the flower of American youth, and the innocent men, women, and children of the hapless, politically convenient population their President decided to demonize and destroy out of ignorance and/or political expediency.

Goodbye, Rummy. And good fucking riddance. Why don’t you take a lovely relaxing vacation to, say, Spain, or someplace else signatory to the International Criminal Court?
