The Star had a choice this morning: should its headline spotlight Obama's continued smoking or his excellent health? The Star went with health over smoking:
President gets upbeat health assessment
Given the story's first paragraph, the headline could have mentioned Obama's smoking, his borderline high cholesterol and the tendinitis in his left knee, but it skipped to the end of the second paragraph which says Obama is in excellent health.
Others went the other way.
Obama yet to kick smoking habit, should eat better (AP on Google)
Doctor tells Obama to quit smoking, eat better (St. Louis Today)
It's an unimportant story, but hey, it's a start. We'll see if this is the start of a trend at the Star or an outlier headline.
