Sure-loser Trump Can’t Win in 2024 – ‘MAGA movement’ widely unpopular

President Donald Trump is still unpopular, and so is the MAGA political movement.  Just 24% of Americans have positive views of the movement, while 45% voice negative views, according to a new poll by NBC News.

Meanwhile, a National Review author said that if “Sure-loser Trump” is nominated, Biden will win the 2024 election.

The Republican Party 33% 43% −10%

The MAGA Movement 24% 45% −21%

A slight majority of Republicans — 52% — view the MAGA movement positively, as well as 53% of those who define themselves as conservative. Independents also rated the MAGA movement negatively, with just 12% viewing it positively, while 45% say they have negative views of the movement.

Andrew McCarthy calls the Orange Man a “sure loser.”

On the flip side, the movement received its highest negative ratings from the higher educated, younger people, people of color, particularly Black people, and those who define themselves as liberals.

Meanwhile, contributing editor Andrew McCarthy wrote in the right-wing National Review that he sees no path to a Donald Trump presidential victory in 2024. McCarthy wrote in “Why Trump Can’t Win” that “Donald Trump cannot win a national election.” He noted Trump’s dismal polling numbers, saying if “Sure-loser Trump gets nominated, then barely compos mentis Biden romps to a second term.”

“This has nothing to do with whether you thought Trump was a good or bad president. It is about recognizing — now before it’s too late — that he will never be president again,” he wrote.

Cult of Trump is like the Moonies

Author Steven Hassan asserts in a new book that Trump is leading an authoritarian mind control cult, like the Unification Church — the Moonies — of the 1970s. “He is a malignant narcissist, which is the stereotypical profile of almost every cult leader and predator of undue influence. The lack of empathy, grandiosity, and self-entitlement, but also thinking they’re above the law, pathological, lying, sadistic, paranoid, revengeful, the whole list,” Hassan said in a recent podcast.

He wrote the book The Cult of Trump: A Leading Cult Expert Explains How the President Uses Mind Control. Hassan said, “the forest fire is MAGA and Trump and the America First rising American Nazi movement.”

Hassan himself was brainwashed into joining the Moonies and even became a leader. “I was a right-wing fascist who would’ve killed on command if Moon told me, ‘Take an AR-15 and kill,'” he said.

“Because when you’re in a mind control cult, you are programmed to block any attack on the leader, the doctrine or the policies. So, trying to use facts, like ‘Don’t you know Trump’s lied 35,000 times?’ — that is going to turn a cult member in the MAGA cult angrier and feeling persecuted against you.”

“The average person thinks only stupid people get into mind control cults. It’s actually the opposite. I say the more mind you have, the more it can be manipulated and controlled. And the biggest vulnerability is thinking you’re too smart or too superior. It’s easy to accept a lie and then get into a situation where disinformation is being programmed into your mind,” he said.

But here’s the secret sauce: everybody knows inside that there’s something wrong. Even though their cult-programmed identity is blocking everything, everyone has doubts. And so, the issue is how to give them permission to access their doubts,” he said.

“We need to develop inoculation programs and intervention programs. We want to empower former members to be educated about mind control, teach them how to share their stories, destigmatize the fact that tens of millions of people have been in all types of other cults than the MAGA cult.”

  1. “Sure-loser Trump Can’t Win in 2024…”
Pronouncements like this scare me. Since 2016, my estimation of American intelligence has plummeted to lows I never thought possible. In the past, I believed people would forget to breathe before reaching the current depth of stupidity displayed by morons who believe in Jewish space lasers, Jew-ish politicians, vaccine nanobots, pizza pedos, etc, etc. At this point, it wouldn’t surprise me if whole swaths of RWNJs pulled a “Jonestown.”

    • I’m with you on this.

In 2015, I was asked if Cheeto’s candidacy would last. I thought that when the summer of 2015 faded into memory, so would his campaign and said so.

      I was wrong.

Since then, I don’t take anything in politics for granted.
