In an interview with Meet the Press’s Kristen Welker that has drawn praise for exposing (for like the millionth time) Donald Trump’s deranged mental state, the below exchange has drawn the most attention since it first aired this morning.
In a word. Duh.
It would have been surprising if this person would have said he would uphold the Constitution.
Remember this is the person who has been impeached twice for high crimes during his first term.
This is the individual who has been convicted and found liable for multiple crimes like business fraud and sexual misconduct.
This is the traitor who sent people to the Capitol as Domestic Terrorists on January 6, 2021 to stage a coup, called those criminals ‘hostages’ and then pardoned them for their crimes against the country. He even invited their Proud Boy Leader to Mara Largo last night to apologize for how he was “mistreated” by the Justice Department.
This is the wannabe Duce that is authorizing the abduction and transport of innocent people to El Salvadorian prisons without any semblance of Due Process.
This is the individual that did not put his hand on the Bible when he swore at his second inaugural that he would uphold the Constitution. He probably worried he would have been struck down if he did. Why are not the White Nationalist Evangelicals moaning and groaning about him not putting his hand on the Bible? If Biden “forgot,” there would have been hell to pay.

For all the praise Welker received from pundits like MediasTouch, she let Trump lie and lie like the Energizer Bunny. He kept lying and lying. Then again, to be fair, if she was able to fact check him on everything, the interview would still be going.
Miss Joe Biden and Kamala Harris yet. At least they cared about the American People and moving the nation forward.
Hopefully, many of the uninformed people that forgot history and the trial transcripts and thought Trump was a safe bet have seen the error of their ways.
