After a disastrous week for the reality TV series "Survivor – GOP Presidential Primary" in which Governor Goodhair Rick Perry's head exploded on live TV from a brain fart, and the leading poseurs for president demonstrated that they are unqualified to be commander-in-chief (former Gov. Jon Huntsman and Rep. Ron Paul were the only sane ones in the last debate, how scary is that?) GOP contenders misfire on Iran, China, the next two episodes of "Survivor – GOP Presidential Primary" will make a hard right-turn off the cliff. It's time to cancel this failed show.
The next episode of "Survivor – GOP Presidential Primary" will not even be televised. It is an oddity billed as the "Thanksgiving Family Forum" on Saturday, November 19 at 5pm ET streamed on CitizenLink.com (Online stream only), sponsored by The Family Leader from the First Federated Church in Des Moines, Iowa. The debate will be moderated by GOP talking points wordsmith Frank Luntz. We wouldn't want any real journalists asking any hard questions, now would we?
The four candidates to whom God made prank calls telling them to run for president, i.e., Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry and Herman Cain will be in front of a fundamentalist evangelical crowd that takes God's little joke all too literally. Willard "Mittens" Romney, a Mormon, has been invited but has not confirmed — he was overheard muttering something about "Daniel in the lion's den." Mittens may want to take a pass, these are not his voters.
The next televised episode of "Survivor – GOP Presidential Primary" will once again return to TeaNN (formerly CNN) on Tuesday, November 22. TeaNN is partnering with the far-right think tanks The Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute, from the historic DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC. TeaNN is not even trying to pretend any longer. The debate will be moderated by Wolf Blitzer. It is scheduled to air at 8 p.m. ET.
This debate is scheduled to be about national security and foreign policy. Oh good, the leading poseurs for president can demonstrate that they are unqualified to be commander-in-chief once again.
Iowa, wholly undeserving of the first caucus/primary in the nation, will get all three episodes of "Survivor – GOP Presidential Primary" in December. Arizona was to have an episode in December, but that has now been rescheduled to February 22. The GOP Primary very well could be over and all but decided before then.
I guess we can have Willard "Mittens" Romney debate himself since he takes multiple positions on every issue depending on the day of the week. It would be kind of like watching The Daily Show's "Even Stevphen" segment with Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert.
