I was driving in Eastern and Central Mesa a couple of days ago and I noticed some disgusting signs on street corners accusing local Democratic candidates of having support from child molesters and fentanyl traffickers.
These signs are totally preposterous and are completely false.
The Arizona Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (ADLCC,) aware of these signs, issued a release that called for the signs to be removed.

These signs have no place in the public discourse.
All signs that spread malicious lies about any candidate, (Democrat, Republican, or Independent) should have been taken down yesterday.
The people do not need this crap.

Misleading, false and defaming signs about Democratic candidates have popped up in Tucson recently, too. Are you suggesting that those of us who disagree with those signs take them down? What is the legal status of doing that? And what would be the legal status of modifying the signs (such as inserting “do not” before the word “vote”?
Hi. I think the election officials that are charged with monitoring such things take them down.
The signs in question are disgusting, and false, but I’ll say this, as someone who has volunteered for many campaigns: individuals should not touch any sign. Get pictures of them, and the “paid for by ” blurb, and if there isn’t one, report it.
Just don’t touch it.
