Teabagged Geico announcer fires back in new video

Actor Lance Baxter, otherwise known as "D.C. Douglas,"  the voice-over announcer who informs you how much GEICO can save you on car insurance (not the gekko), was recently fired by GEICO after he left a satirical telephone message for the folks at FreedomWorks, the Dick Armey corporate lobbyist front group for the so-called Tea Party movement. FreedomWorks got their panties in a twist over his call and asked teabaggers to call GEICO, and well, GEICO fired him.

No word yet on whether Mr. Baxter will sue GEICO for wrongful termination, i.e., for exercising his First Amendment right of free speech on his own time.
