Terry Goddard makes it official

Today, Attorney General Terry Goddard's Exploratory Committee filed a Statement of Organization with the Secretary of State's office. 

Attorney General Goddard issued this statement: "Today I have taken the next step toward becoming an official candidate for Governor of my beloved home of Arizona.  I will be making an announcement in the weeks to come."

Chairman Don Bivens issued the following statement about Terry Goddard's filing of candidacy:

"We are thrilled that Terry Goddard has taken this step today. This is good news for Arizona, which desperately needs a strong leader with a proven ability to put partisanship aside and solve difficult problems.

"As attorney general, Goddard fights for the people of Arizona every day, cracking down on border violence, human traffickers, payday lenders and shady mortgage scammers. As governor, he will also stand up for the right priorities – creating jobs, investing in schools, and keeping communities safe. We will work tirelessly to help Terry Goddard become the next governor of Arizona."
