The fight to secure a Democratic Majority in the United States Senate is now centered on two runoff elections in Georgia this January 5, 2021.

The two Republican Candidates, Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue have demonstrated in the general election campaign that they are unfit for office.

Loeffler, in trying to out conservative her nearest Republican rival, embraced a Congressional Candidate that champions the unhinged conspiracy theories of Q’Anon.

Perdue wimped out of a second debate against his opponent Jon Ossoff after performing poorly in their first encounter.

He also showed his racist tendencies by his wilful mispronunciation of the name of the Vice President-Elect.

Both Senators further tainted themselves by subscribing to Trump Zone tactics in calling for the resignation of Georgias Republican elected Secretary of State.

Democratic and Progressive Activists across the country need to recognize that the battle for the soul of the country and moving the nation forward is on the ballot on January 5, 2021.

If Obstructionist in Chief Mitch McConnell is allowed to retain his position as Senate Majority Leader, he will do to Joe Biden (despite their friendship; just look what Lindsey Graham did to Biden and is doing) what he did to Barack Obama: obstruct.

This should not be a surprise to anyone in the country.

Republicans like Moscow Mitch McConnell and What Wife is he on today Newt Gingrich before them have routinely delayed or stymied popular Democratic initiatives during the Clinton and Obama Administrations in naked power plays to reap the rewards from imbecilic base voters who do not know any better that Republicans do not serve their socioeconomic interests.

Does anyone really think that Mitch McConnell would have a kumbaya significant emotional event and change his obstructionist tactics just because his old buddy Joe is the President?

As Catherine Rampbell indicated in her column in the Washington Post indicated: No way.

McConnell and other leading Republicans are already showing their hand now by catering to Donald Trump’s whims on not conceding to President-Elect Biden.

For them, it is the party before country and power for the sake of power. 

Democratic and Progressive Activists around the nation should rally to the  Democratic Candidacies of Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock. 

The Battle for the Soul and Direction of the Country is at stake.

Do not stand on the sidelines at this critical juncture in United States History.

Defeat the forces of Trumpism, Obstructionism, and Q’Anon.
