The Harris for President Campaign Has a Robust Weekend of Action in the Grand Canyon State

From Kamala for Arizona.

Across Arizona, the Harris for President Campaign, in coordination with other Democratic Part activists held a very robust first weekend of action in the Grand Canyon state.

According to a Harris for Arizona Press Release:

“Throughout the weekend, the Harris for President and the Democratic coordinated campaign launched 26 canvasses and hosted a total of 67 events from Kingman to Nogales. 140 volunteers and supporters knocked on nearly 5,000 doors across the state and the campaign hosted 152 phone banks that made nearly 5,500 calls.

This weekend capped off a juggernaut launch to the Harris for President Campaign that saw $200 million in contributions in less than a week and 170,000 new volunteer signups.

In Arizona, 2,000 people signed up to volunteer in the first four days of the Harris Campaign.

Here are some pictures from this weekend’s events that were posted on social media.

The Harris for President Campaign reminded readers at the end of the press release what this race was about:

“Vice President Harris and Democrats are fighting for a future that strengthens our Democracy, protects reproductive freedom, and ensures every person has the opportunity to not just get by but to get ahead. Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda would threaten Americans’ rights and freedoms, hurt the middle class, and raise costs for families.”
