The Katie Hobbs Campaign is on the offense with four digital ads attacking Trump Republican Kari Lakes’ positions on abortion, cameras in the classroom, defunding the F.B.I., women’s equality, and rocket launchers, labeling her as “seriously dangerous.”
The first ad “She’s Serious” describes Lake’s fringe reviews on abortion, including her support for the 1901 law that outlaws the procedure, even in cases of rape and incest. The ad also quotes Lake’s support for cameras in the classroom where she would spy on teachers. It also showcases her favoring the dismantling of the F.B.I.
The ad titled “1901” is an expanded narrative on Lake’s support for the pre-statehood abortion ban.
In the ad, “Women and Men,” Lake is quoted as saying: “We know that God did not create us to be equal to men” and “We do not want to be equal to them because we are not the same.”
In a word, oy.
In the final ad, rocket launchers, Ms. Lake apparently reiterated her support for people being able to purchase that weapon, stating on a radio show:
“I am for any weapon. It’s about protecting against tyranny.”
Trump-MAGA Republican Kari Lake is seriously dangerous and radically extremist for the many women, law enforcement officials, teachers, and children who would be adversely affected by her proposed policies.
Voters need to send a clear message on November 8, 2022, that Ms. Lake’s candidacy and policy proposals are seriously dangerous and have no place in Twenty-First Century Arizona.
They actually have no place at any time in this nation’s history.
Defeat her in 68 days.
