The three Democratic candidates vying for their party’s nomination to succeed Ann Kirkpatrick (Kirsten Engel, Dr. Randy Friese, and Daniel Hernandez) in the area still known as Arizona Congressional District Two have just completed serving in the lastest Arizona Legislative Session.
All three voted against the regressive Republican flat tax proposal and all the repressive policies (like voter suppression and defunding parts of Proposition 208) tucked away in it.
They also just reported their latest second-quarter fundraising totals and endorsements in their race for Congress.

The Legislative District (LD) Ten State Senator has reported $335,000 in fundraising totals over the first two reporting quarters this year. Eighty percent of the donations have come from Arizonans and in small increments of $100 or less.

Commenting on the fundraising and endorsements, Senator Engel said:

I will be a voice for working moms, working families, and our Southern Arizonan communities as a whole. It’s exciting to feel the momentum behind our campaign and I am incredibly grateful for the support of everyone who has donated and given me the honor of their endorsement, from elected officials to everyday Arizonans across the district.”
Dr. Randy Friese
