The Likely Unlamented Half Hour News Hour Goes Down

I love self-defeating efforts at propaganda by the Right. I cherish the absolute ugliness of everything that comes out of Ann Coulter’s mouth. I love it when fuckwads like Ted Stephens get up on the hind legs and rant. I love how completely clueless, unfunny, and outright offensive The Half Hour News Hour was. I think I saw some of the most completely thoughtless, arrogant, and down-right stupid television when watching it… when I could force myself to watch it, that is.

Here’s one of my favorite examples of how utterly idiotic and reflexively nasty this show was, which is what will make me miss it so much:

How funny is that? Look at God killing the atheists for not believing in him. What a great guy God is! Look at the atheist convert under threat of death by our jealous and petty deity! Oh, good times, good times. We’ll miss you Half Hour New Hour… but probably not much.
